Job summary

Elliott Group in Abu Dhabi KEZAD Free Zone is seeking a Workshop Mechanic to maintain and overhaul rotating turbo machinery, including turbines and compressors. This full-time on-site role requires precise measurement, rigging, and strict adherence to safety standards.

You will plan and oversee repairs with minimal supervision, mentor other technicians, and ensure documentation and quality control across the lifecycle from inspection to reassembly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency required.
• 5–8 years rotating turbo machinery experience (turbines, compressors).
• Advanced rigging, lifting, and precision measurement capabilities.
• Ability to plan and oversee repairs with limited supervision.
• Strong teamwork and mentorship mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical integrity of rotating equipment with high precision workmanship.
• Overhaul rotors, turbines, shafts, gears, and related components.
• Set up equipment, tooling, and specifications for repair work.
• Accurately measure critical clearances with micrometers and gauges.
• Read engineering drawings and manage inspection records; train others.
