Job summary

Siemens Energy Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior field service engineer to perform advanced commissioning, troubleshooting, and fact-finding on gas turbine systems. You will work independently to resolve complex issues and coordinate with project leaders worldwide.

The role requires 5+ years of field service experience, strong English, and willingness to travel 70–80%. You will lead small technical teams, ensure QA and safety compliance, and support sales and planning with technical input.

• Maintain effective coordination with project leaders, design teams, and customer representatives.
• Ensure all activities comply with QA standards, project documentation, and health & safety requirements.
• Execute commissioning and fact-finding on gas turbine systems globally per company standards.
• Deliver work within budget and timelines through efficient planning and resource utilization.
• Support sales, planning, and customers through technical input, risk mitigation, and project coordination.

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of field service experience with capability to lead small technical teams.
• Strong communication skills with advanced proficiency in English and experience in multicultural environments.
• High flexibility with willingness to travel extensively (70–80%) and work shifts.
• Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering from a vocational school, technical college, or university.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
