Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company invites applications for a chartering support role within its global energy maritime logistics division. You will provide technical and administrative support to the chartering team, ensuring timely completion of formalities and compliant ship utilization.

You will prepare documentation, assist negotiations, maintain market information, and manage data on internal and external contacts to enable smooth chartering activities.

Qualifications

• University degree in a commercial discipline or equivalent qualification.
• 5–10 years relevant and principal experience in energy sector working with an international Oil company/ Owner / Operator / Cargo Trader dealing

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities relating to the chartering in / out of ships, providing administrative and technical support.
• Prepare related documentations in order to meet requirements for ship utilization in line with standards and requirements.
• Provides technical and administrative assistance during negotiation phase of the terms of charter in order to ensure achievement of terms and conditions commercially favorable and terms and conditions meet requirements.
• Prepare reports and document and file relevant market information and ensure that required information is made available on a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain data base and contact details of internal and external parties. Receive and advise information as instructed for smooth flow of chartering activities.
