Qualifications

• 1–3 years' PQE from a leading international or US law firm.
• Strong private funds experience, ideally with GP- and LP-side matters.
• Experience advising on fund formation and fund investments.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills for fund documents and side letters.
• Strong academic credentials and attention to detail.

A leading US law firm is seeking a talented 1–3 PQE Funds Lawyer to join its growing private funds practice in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-to-mid-level associate with strong private funds experience who is looking to develop their career within a highly regarded international practice.

The Role

The successful candidate will work on a broad range of private investment fund matters, advising both general partners (GPs) and limited partners (LPs) across fund formation, investments and related transactional matters. The role will involve exposure to sophisticated institutional clients and complex cross-border transactions, with the opportunity to work closely with senior lawyers across the firm's international funds practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising GPs and sponsors on the establishment, structuring and operation of private investment funds.
• Advising LPs and institutional investors on fund investments, including reviewing and negotiating fund documentation.
• Drafting and negotiating LPA, subscription, side letter and related fund documentation.
• Advising on fund terms, governance, investor rights and regulatory considerations.
