CapeClarke is recruiting a junior-to-mid-level Funds Lawyer for a leading US law firm's Dubai practice. The role focuses on sophisticated institutional clients and cross-border investment fund matters.

You will advise GPs and LPs on fund structuring, governance and investments, draft and negotiate LPAs, subscriptions and side letters, and collaborate with international offices. The ideal candidate has 1–3 PQE, strong private funds experience, and a keen eye for detail within a demanding, global

Qualifications

1–3 years PQE at a leading international or US law firm.
Proven experience in private funds, including GP-side and LP-side matters.
Proficiency in fund formation, fund investments, and drafting/negotiating fund documentation (LPA, subscription, side letters).
Strong academic background and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Advise GPs and sponsors on establishment, structuring, and operation of private investment funds.
Advise LPs and institutional investors on fund investments, including document review and negotiation.
Draft and negotiate LPA, subscription, side letter, and related fund documentation.
Support clients on alternative investment strategies including private equity, venture capital, and credit.
Manage cross-border matters in collaboration with international offices.
