Job summary

Aventus in Dubai is seeking a Mid-Level Functional Test Engineer for a mobile development project. The role is fully onsite in Dubai on a 6-month contract with potential extension, requiring immediate joiners with 3–5 years of testing experience across web, mobile, API, SAP, and enterprise apps.

The ideal candidate will work on functional testing, SIT, regression, and exploratory testing, with exposure to Azure DevOps, Jira, Postman, API testing, SQL, data validation, and Power BI validation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of manual testing experience across mobile and enterprise applications.
• Experience with Functional Testing, SIT, Regression Testing, Exploratory Testing, and UAT support.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Postman, API testing, SQL and data validation.
• Power BI/reporting validation experience preferred.
• ISTQB certification or exposure is advantageous.
• Pharma exposure is preferred for BA-related projects.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Support UAT and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Validate data and perform API testing using Postman.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams in Agile environments.
• Gain exposure to SAP testing as needed.

Functional Test Engineer (3-5 Years Experience) Location: Dubai

We are hiring a Mid-Level Functional Test Engineer for a mobile development project in Dubai.

This is a 6-month contract with a possible 1-2 month extension. The role is fully onsite (Monday-Friday), and we are looking for immediate joiners only.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in manual testing, including Functional Testing, SIT, Regression Testing, Exploratory Testing, and UAT support across web, mobile, API, SAP, and enterprise applications. Experience with Azure Dev Ops, Jira, Postman, API testing, SQL, integration testing, data validation, and Power BI/reporting validation is preferred.

Exposure to SAP testing, Agile environments, and ISTQB certification will be an advantage.

Candidates from any industry background are welcome, though pharma experience is preferred for BA-related projects.

Strong analytical, defect management, and stakeholder communication skills are essential.
