Job summary

Dicetek LLC in the UAE seeks an experienced Tester for Banking/Digital Banking projects to validate end-to-end customer journeys across multiple banking systems and perform API and database validations.

The role covers STLC/SDLC, Agile/Scrum, UAT support, defect logging in JIRA, and collaboration with DevOps, Analysts and Product Owners to ensure quality releases.

Qualifications

• Banking domain knowledge across mobile, internet, retail, corporate banking, payments and onboarding.
• Strong experience with STLC and SDLC in complex banking apps.
• Hands-on with REST/SOAP, Postman, SOAP UI; JSON/XML validation.

Responsibilities

• Validate end-to-end customer journeys across multiple banking systems.
• Execute API and database validations; log defects in JIRA.
• Coordinate with DevOps, BAs, PO to resolve issues during sprints.

Analyze Business Requirement Documents BRD Functional Requirement Specifications FRS User Stories and Acceptance Criteria Participate in requirement clarification sessions with Business Analysts and Product Owners Prepare Test Strategy Test Plan and Test Estimation Identify functional and non-functional test scenarios Design comprehensive test cases with complete requirement traceability Execute Functional Testing Integration Testing System Testing Regression Testing Smoke Testing and UAT support Validate end-to-end customer journeys across multiple banking systems Perform API validation using Postman or SOAP UI Execute database validations using Oracle SQL or SQL Server Identify defects reproduce issues and log detailed defects in JIRA Perform Root Cause Analysis for production and UAT defects Coordinate with Developers Business Analysts Product Owners and DevOps teams for issue resolution Participate in Sprint Planning Grooming Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives Validate production releases and perform post-deployment sanity testing Support SIT UAT and Production deployments Ensure all testing deliverables meet project quality standards.

Required Experience

Experience: 8+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Domain: Banking / Digital Banking / Mobile Banking Minimum 8 years of Functional Testing experience. Minimum 3+ years of Digital Banking or Mobile Banking testing experience. Strong understanding of Banking products and customer journeys. Experience in complex enterprise applications involving multiple integrated systems. Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology. Experience in Banking Digital Transformation projects is highly preferred.
