Job summary

TAT IT Technolgies is seeking a Performance Test Engineer for a banking client in Dubai. You will design, develop, and execute performance, load, and API tests for web, mobile, and services, ensuring scalability and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of hands-on testing in banking/FinTech, strong hands-on with JMeter or similar, and experience with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools. You will collaborate with Development, QA, Architecture, Infrastructure, DevOps and Business teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
• 3–7 years of hands-on Performance Testing & Engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and PTLC.
• Hands-on with tools: Apache JMeter (preferred), LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, Gatling.
• Experience with API performance testing (REST & SOAP).
• Knowledge of application servers, databases, middleware, and distributed systems.
• Experience with monitoring tools: Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus.
• SQL query and database performance validation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
• Agile/Scrum methodology understanding.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Candidate experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Appium, and Rest Assured for web, mobile, and API testing.--

Must have hands-on experience in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript, along with frameworks such as TestNG, Cucumber BDD, and JUnit, plus CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI/CD.-

Must

Proven experience in Banking, Corporate Banking, FinTech, or Financial Services, with knowledge of payments, digital banking, customer onboarding, transaction processing, and regulatory compliance.--

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Performance Test Engineer with years of experience in performance testing and engineering. The role involves designing, developing, and executing performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests for web, mobile, and API-based applications. The engineer will collaborate with Development, QA, Architecture, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Business teams to identify bottlenecks, optimize performance, and ensure systems meet business and service-level requirements. Experience in Banking, Corporate Banking, or FinTech domains is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Performance Testing Strategies – Design, develop, and execute performance test plans.
• Load & Stress Testing – Conduct load, stress, endurance, scalability, spike, and volume testing.
• API Performance Testing – Validate response times, throughput, and system stability for REST/SOAP services.
• Monitoring & Analysis – Monitor applications, databases, middleware, and infrastructure during tests.
• Bottleneck Identification – Collaborate with teams to resolve performance issues.
• Reporting & Optimization – Prepare detailed reports and recommend improvements.
• CI/CD Integration – Embed performance testing into DevOps pipelines.
• Production Readiness – Support benchmarking and readiness activities.
