Job summary

ATRIBS METSCON Group is seeking a seasoned QA professional to design and execute test strategies for digital banking apps, APIs, and microservices. You will perform end-to-end testing across web/mobile channels, develop automated suites, and ensure API validation and backend quality.

The role requires strong experience in REST, JSON/XML, OAuth/JWT, and CI/CD practices, with collaboration across product, development, and DevOps teams to deliver compliant, high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years QA experience with enterprise apps and APIs.
• Banking/FinTech domain experience preferred.
• Understanding of API-driven architectures and microservices.
• Experience testing customer-facing apps with high availability and security.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, defect management, and automation best practices.
• Familiarity with regulated/compliance-driven environments.
• Certifications: AWS, PMP, CISSP, Azure, ITIL; Agile/ Scrum preferred.
• Preferred tech stack knowledge: Python/Java, Kubernetes, React; CI/CD tooling.

KeyResponsibilities *

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies,test plans, and test cases for digital banking applications, APIs,microservices, and web/mobile channels.

Perform functional, integration, system, regression, API, UAT,and end-to-end testing across banking platforms.

Develop and maintain automated test suites to improve testcoverage and release quality.

Validate REST APIs, microservices, event-driven integrations,and backend services.

Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers,Architects, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.

Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, defecttriage, and release readiness assessments.

Execute test automation within CI/CD pipelines and supportshift-left quality practices.

Ensure compliance with banking security, audit, performance,and regulatory requirements.

Track, report, and manage defects through to resolution whileensuring quality gates are met.

Required Skills*

Strong experience in Manual Testing, API Testing, IntegrationTesting, and Automation Testing.

Hands-on experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, SoapUI, andAPI validation tools.

Experience in automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress,Playwright, Rest Assured, or Karate.

Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth 2.0, OpenIDConnect, JWT, and Microservices Architecture.

Experience with SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and databasevalidation techniques.

Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies.

Familiarity with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and SonarQubequality processes.

Proficient in BDD/SDD practices, leveraging Gherkin andCucumber to create executable specifications, automate acceptance tests, andimprove collaboration between business and technical teams.

RequiredExperience / Knowledge Areas *

5+ years of QA experience with at least 3 years testingenterprise applications and APIs.

Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Corporate Banking,Digital Banking, Payments, Lending, or FinTech domains.

Strong understanding of API-driven architectures andmicroservices ecosystems.

Experience in testing customer-facing applications with highavailability and security requirements.

Understanding of software quality assurance methodologies,defect management, and test automation best practices.

Experience working in regulated and compliance-drivenenvironments.

Good-to-HaveSkills

Performance testing experience using JMeter, LoadRunner, orNeoLoad.

Security testing experience including OWASP, API Security, andvulnerability assessment.

Experience testing cloud-native applications deployed on Azureor AWS.

Mobile application testing experience for Android and iOSplatforms.

Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Event Hub, or messagingplatforms.

Exposure to AI-assisted testing, test data management, andsynthetic monitoring.
