Pickl in Dubai is seeking a senior mobile engineer to architect, build, and maintain a high-performance iOS and Android app from the ground up. You will lead end-to-end mobile delivery, ensure robust security, and collaborate with design teams to translate UI/UX into pixel-perfect experiences.

The role requires deep familiarity with native iOS/Android, cross‑platform options like React Native or Flutter, and pragmatic backend integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain a high-performance mobile application for both iOS and Android platforms from the ground up.
• Design and implement scalable backend services, RESTful or GraphQL APIs, and robust database structures.
• Oversee the complete deployment pipeline, including provisioning, certificates, and app store submissions (Apple App Store and Google Play).
• Implement comprehensive security measures, user authentication, and data protection protocols.
• Monitor app performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and execute seamless bug fixes and feature rollouts.
• Make independent, strategic technical decisions regarding frameworks, infrastructure, and toolsets to ensure the product's long-term success.

Technical Requirements

• Mobile Development (iOS & Android): Deep expertise in native programming languages—Swift and Objective-C for iOS, alongside Kotlin and Java for Android. Proficiency in cross-platform frameworks (React Native or Flutter) to deliver seamless, native-quality experiences across both operating systems.
• Backend Engineering: Proficiency in server-side languages (such as Node.js/TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, or C#) to build resilient, secure APIs.
• Database Management: Strong experience designing and optimizing relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Firebase) databases.
• UI/UX Integration: Experience working with Figma to inspect designs, extract assets, and seamlessly translate UI/UX prototypes into pixel-perfect, responsive mobile interfaces.
• Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and configuring CI/CD pipelines for mobile deployment.
• Architecture: Deep understanding of mobile system design, state management, and offline-first capabilities.
