Job summary

Crescent Petroleum is seeking a mid-to-senior software/data engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust business applications end-to-end. You will bridge application development with data-driven decision making, build BI dashboards, and implement secure CI/CD pipelines across Azure and containerized environments.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience, proficiency in .NET, React, and SQL Server, plus exposure to cloud and DevSecOps practices. On-site in Sharjah, UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Systems or Electronics & Telecommunication.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in design and end-to-end implementation of business applications.
• Strong experience in DevSecOps and application development using .NET, React, Power BI, and SQL Server.
• Experience with JavaScript, Python, Node.js, MySQL, PostgreSQL; Laravel/CodeIgniter is a plus.
• Experience with Azure services, Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core business applications and APIs.
• Develop data models and dashboards to support BI and reporting needs.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure security and compliance.
• Coordinate testing, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity and security.
