Job summary

Halian is seeking a highly capable Full-Stack Engineer to join our Data & AI team in Abu Dhabi. This role focuses on an AI-powered platform running in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, combining backend engineering with cloud infrastructure and DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• 4–7 years of software engineering, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps experience.
• Strong hands-on with Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in backend development with Python, Node.js or TypeScript.
• Experience building microservices-based architectures and container platforms.

FullStack Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Full-Stack Engineer to join our client's growing Data & AI team. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of an AI-powered platform running in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

The successful candidate will combine strong backend engineering expertise with cloud infrastructure and DevOps capabilities, taking ownership of deployment pipelines, cloud environments, observability, cost optimization, and platform reliability. Working closely with AI and frontend engineers, you will help deliver innovative AI-driven products and services at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that support AI-powered applications.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions using modern software engineering practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across platform components.

Required Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in backend development using technologies such as Python, Node.js, or TypeScript.
• Experience building and supporting microservices-based architectures.
• Hands-on expertise with Docker, containers, and Kubernetes-based platforms such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools including Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, or similar solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud security, DevSecOps, governance, and cost management practices.
