Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates is seeking a Reservoir Engineer specializing in full field simulation to support field development planning.

You will build and update black oil and compositional models, perform history matching, run production forecasts, and assess development strategies with a focus on uncertainty and risk reduction to drive optimized reservoir management decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Update and generate black oil and compositional simulation models for short-term and long-term field development planning.
• Evaluate development schemes through simulation sensitivities, uncertainty and risk assessment, and economics.
• Translate reservoir studies into operational guidance.
• Build full-field simulation models, perform history matching, and generate forecasts.
• Characterize reservoir fluids, calibrate EOS models, and convert black oil models to compositional models.
• Diagnose model convergence and runtime problems.
• Integrate pressure and production test results into simulation and reservoir management decisions.
• Apply multiphase flow concepts, effective permeability, and relative permeability correlations.
