Role Context

The Machine Operator - Frozen Food Processing will support GMG Farm Fresh processing operations by ensuring production machinery runs safely, efficiently, and according to internal quality standards. The role requires strong attention to machine settings, safety features, calibration, cleaning, inspections, output quality, and production records. The successful candidate will work closely with production teams to maintain consistent productivity, reduce defects, prevent downtime, and ensure frozen food products are processed and packaged in line with hygiene and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare machines before each production cycle by performing cleaning, calibration, setup, and basic readiness checks.
• Operate food processing and packaging machinery safely and consistently during frozen food production.
• Verify machine safety features before operation to ensure safe working conditions.
• Follow written and verbal production instructions accurately.
• Set up machinery and perform minor calibrations when required.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings properly to maintain production efficiency.
• Inspect machinery regularly to ensure smooth operation and identify possible technical issues.
• Maintain high-quality machine-produced outputs according to internal standards.
• Check parts, product output, and machine results using appropriate measuring tools.
• Conduct regular machine tests to confirm proper operation during shifts.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major faults to maintenance or supervisors.
