Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a welcoming Front Desk Receptionist to support guest registration, check-ins, and room assignments in a busy Dubai hotel. You will handle guest inquiries, process charges, and assist with night audits while maintaining a secure, well-presented front desk.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of hospitality experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams. UAE residency and immediate availability are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a Receptionist/Front Desk Associate in hospitality.
• Ability to handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
• Familiarity with hotel operating standards and night audit basics.

Responsibilities

• Managing the guest registration process, including check-ins, room assignments, key issuance, and departures in accordance with hotel operating standards.
• Processing room charges, cash/card transactions, billing reconciliations, and routine folio verifications accurately.
• Addressing guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints promptly, escalating complex service issues to the Front Office Supervisor.
• Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance departments to monitor room readiness, maintenance logs, and inventory statuses.
• Answering switchboard calls, routing messages, and assisting with direct reservation inquiries professionally.
• Performing basic night audit handovers, end-of-shift reporting, and data entry into the property management system.
• Maintaining an orderly, secure front desk and lobby reception area aligned with brand presentation standards.
