French-Speaking Project Finance Leader

AMEA Power is seeking a Project Finance Manager (French Speaking) in Dubai to lead financing for projects in Franco-phone markets, performing financial assessments and driving investment opportunities. You will structure deals, oversee due diligence, model financials, and negotiate financing agreements with lenders, DFIs, and partners to achieve timely financial close.

The role requires 8+ years in project finance, strong Excel modeling, and fluency in French and English; CFA is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of relevant work experience (preferably with multinational org / major bank / power developer / advisory)
• More than 2 years in a lead role
• Hands-on experience and ability to review, customize and maintain complex project finance models
• Understanding and ability to implement tax provisions affecting a project
• Understanding of offtake agreements and bankability under project finance
• Basic understanding of various power generation technologies and key business drivers
• Basic understanding of the economic landscape of the target market

Aufgaben

• Lead financing for AMEA’s projects
• Build knowledge of market trends and lender appetites for relevant project types and locations
• Lead market sounding and debt raising processes for pursued projects
• Provide project finance support at various stages until financial close
• Understand banks' due diligence requirements and guide the project through approvals
• Lead negotiations and execution of financing agreements as part of PF team
• Be the focal point for lenders on due diligence topics
• Nurture relationships with lenders, DFIs, IFIs and other developers
• Undertake due diligence, financial modelling and risk analysis for current and prospective projects
• Provide financial modelling and analysis for internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to negotiations of MOUs, JDAs, PPAs, Concession Agreements, Tax/Investment Conventions
• Understand contractual framework in renewable energy non-recourse transactions
• Understand structure and bankability in EPC and O&M agreements
• Understand key taxation principles in international project finance transactions
• Assess project structures and documentation from investment and lending perspectives
• Assist in structuring deals to satisfy investors and lenders
• Assist in origination of deals when possible
• Manage external advisors for due diligence and valuation
• Advise on financial optimization in tariff setting exercises
• Lead financial structuring of bid proposals for international tenders
• Identify gaps in compliance with covenants and policies
