Job summary

Veolia Middle East is seeking a seasoned Project Finance Director to lead financial management for development projects across the Near & Middle East. You will act as the primary financial advisor to Business Development teams and report to the region CFO in Dubai.

The role requires deep expertise in IFRS, sophisticated financial modeling, and extensive experience in project finance and M&A activities, with fluency in English and additional language skills as a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in corporate and project finance, ideally in investment banking or multinational settings.
Strong understanding of IFRS and their application to complex transactions.
Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills.
Experience with project finance structuring and debt financing arrangements.
Ability to coordinate technical, legal and financial due diligence for bankability.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive financial models for new projects and M&A opportunities.
Perform valuation analysis and assess financial returns under IFRS standards.
Challenge cost assumptions and build robust business plans for tenders.
Conduct impairment tests and support long-term growth projects.
Oversee M&A project management processes including due diligence and closing.
Structure project financing solutions in collaboration with banks and institutions.
Support commercial teams in preparing and optimizing financial offers.
