Job summary

The Bussola Group is seeking a freelance PRO to manage government relations, licensing, and visa processes across our UAE entities. You will serve as the primary liaison with UAE ministries and authorities, ensuring timely and compliant handling of licensing, visa, and related regulatory tasks.

The role requires proven PRO experience in the UAE, strong relationships with DED, MOHRE, GDRFA, and free zone authorities, and meticulous record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a PRO in the UAE, ideally supporting multiple entities/free zones.
• Strong relationships and working knowledge across DED, MOHRE, GDRFA, and free zone authorities.
• Excellent knowledge of UAE visa, labour, and licensing processes.
• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and responsive.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all trade license applications, renewals, and amendments across free zone and mainland entities.
• Handle employee visa processing: entry permits, status changes, medical, Emirates ID, labour card, visa stamping, renewals and cancellations.
• Manage document clearance and attestation (MOFA, notarization, etc.).
• Liaise with government departments (DED, MOHRE, GDRFA, Immigration, free zone authorities) to resolve issues.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with UAE labour law and licensing regulations, flag renewal deadlines proactively.
• Maintain organized records of all licenses, permits, and employee documentation.
• Provide regular status updates on all active government transactions.
• Support ad hoc government-related tasks as the group's entities grow.

About the Role

The Bussola Group is looking for an experienced freelance PRO to manage all government relations, documentation, and compliance requirements across our group entities. You'll act as our dedicated liaison with UAE ministries and authorities, ensuring smooth, timely, and compliant handling of all licensing, visa, and regulatory processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all trade license applications, renewals, and amendments across free zone and mainland entities
• Handle employee visa processing: entry permits, status change, medical, Emirates ID, labour card, visa stamping, renewals and cancellations
• Manage document clearance and attestation (MOFA, notarization, etc.)
• Liaise directly with relevant government departments (DED, MOHRE, GDRFA, Immigration, free zone authorities) to resolve issues and process applications efficiently
• Ensure ongoing compliance with UAE labour law and licensing regulations, flagging renewal deadlines proactively
• Maintain organized records of all licenses, permits, and employee documentation
• Provide regular status updates on all active government transactions
• Support ad hoc government-related tasks as the group's entities grow (new entity setup, additional approvals, etc.)

Requirements

• Proven experience as a PRO in the UAE, ideally supporting multiple entities/free zones simultaneously
• Strong, current relationships and working knowledge across DED, MOHRE, GDRFA, and relevant free zone authorities (RAKICC, DWTC, DMCC, IFZA, etc)
• Excellent knowledge of UAE visa, labour, and licensing processes and requirements
• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and responsive
• Valid UAE driving license preferred (for government office visits)
• Arabic language skills an advantage but not necessary
