Job summary

FAB in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Officer – OFM Training, Awareness & Capability Building to lead awareness, education and capability programs across Operational, Fraud and Model Risk Management.

You will develop engaging communications and training content, coordinate with SMEs to tailor material for staff, customers and vendors, and deliver campaigns including Fraud Awareness initiatives to strengthen risk culture across the bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.
• 2 years’ relevant experience in the banking sector.
• Working knowledge of bank products, channels and services.
• Working knowledge of Operational Risk in the banking sector.
• Strong administrative skills and ability to multitask.
• Experience in crafting and delivery of communications and training material.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow department policies, processes, SOPs and instructions for controlled, consistent work.
• Demonstrate compliance with values and ethics to support a value-driven culture.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices.
• Assist in preparing timely and accurate statements and reports.
• Support with Operational Risk Advisory & Oversight to identify fraud trends for awareness content.
• Lead and coordinate communications for fraud-related news and annual awareness plan.
• Collaborate with SMEs to craft and deliver targeted operational risk awareness communications.
• Ensure awareness material is succinct and clear for comprehension.
• Identify new channels to reach target audiences.
• Support internal training programs and draft material for targeted groups.
• Coordinate with external parties for fraud trainings as needed.
• Prepare materials and coordinate delivery of campaigns related to International Fraud Awareness Week.
• Support OFM TAC and wider OFM team activities.
• Work within Group policies and governance frameworks.
