Founding Product Leader, AI Fintech for SMEs

Job summary

Daira in UAE is seeking a founding product leader to turn strategy into quarterly plans and define clear requirements. You will own the backlog, write PRDs and user stories, and work with CEO, CPTO and engineers in agile sprints to deliver AI-native fintech features.

You will gather input from leadership and clients, ensuring features meet adoption targets and measurable outcomes. This role offers high influence and a path to senior product leadership as we scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, ideally fintech, SaaS or B2B for SMEs.
• Hands-on experience building AI or LLM-based products.
• Strong customer discovery skills; comfortable talking to business owners.
• Clear, structured writing (PRDs, user stories, roadmaps).
• Experience working closely with engineering in agile sprints.
• Knowledge of accounting, tax or finance workflows; UAE/GCC market.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy with the CEO and CPTO and break it into a quarterly plan.
• Own the backlog: timing, business impact and tech effort for each feature.
• Write user stories and PRDs, and keep them ready two sprints ahead.
• Gather and prioritize ideas from leadership, business teams and clients.
• Run sprint planning with Tech and business testing (UAT) before release.
• Benchmark international peers and competitors to stay ahead.
• Review features after launch to confirm adoption and results.
