Job summary

Client of Discovered MENA is seeking an engineering leader to take over the entire engineering organization in a founding-level role, spanning architecture, delivery, quality and team scaling. Qualifications

• 10‑15+ years leading delivery and organizational growth.
• Strong OT/ICS security or enterprise detection background with industrial protocols.
• Thrives in lean, fast-paced environment.
• Applied AI or edge-device GPU inference experience.
• Background in SIEM/detection engineering or SOC tooling.
• Familiarity with sovereign deployment requirements in critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, delivery, quality and team scaling end-to-end.
• Define technical direction across AI platform and appliance lines.
• Establish release cadences, versioning, and robust UAT production environment separations.
• Oversee the data path for passive monitoring and industrial protocol decoding (e.g., Modbus, S7Comm, IEC 60870-5-104).
• Drive appliance hardening, TPM-based device identity, full-disk encryption and compliance tooling.
• Lead and rapidly scale a high-performing distributed global engineering team.
