Job summary

Analog is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to shape the Infosec program as the first dedicated security hire. You will design and implement end-to-end security across cloud, on‑prem, and data platforms, embedding security into product development and operations.

You will lead risk assessments, threat modeling, penetration testing, and policy development while building the roadmap for future security tooling and team expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.
• Experience in security architecture, engineering, and operations in cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem environments.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and Zero Trust.
• Hands-on experience with security tools including firewalls, SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, DLP, and encryption.
• Expertise in incident response, threat intelligence, and forensic investigations.
• Experience with IAM, MFA, and PAM.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive a comprehensive security roadmap aligned with business strategy.
• Design, implement, and manage security architectures for cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
• Develop, enforce, and improve security policies and standards across the organization.
• Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability management to meet standards like ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2.
• Lead incident response, containment, remediation, and post-mortem analysis.
• Perform penetration testing, security audits, and compliance assessments.
• Deploy and manage security tooling (SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, IAM, firewalls, encryption).
• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, IT to embed security into SDLC (DevSecOps).
• Develop security measures to protect AI models and data pipelines.
• Stay current with evolving cyber threats and security trends.
• Conduct security awareness training and manage external partnerships.
