Job summary

Sundus is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise data, AI, and automation solutions from Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, integrate ERP/CRM systems, and build AI-powered workflows with dashboards and interfaces.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering and API development, with a strong focus on security, governance, and production deployments across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or Data Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, API development, system integrations, and production AI or automation solutions.
• Proven experience developing AI agents, AI-powered applications, and workflow automation.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, databases, data pipelines, and data transformation.
• Experience integrating ERP, CRM, and other enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and production deployments.
• Understanding of enterprise security, data governance, access controls, and AI testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
