Halian | Managed Services, Recruitment Agency & Contract Staffing is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer in Abu Dhabi to define technical direction for an AI squad embedded in the business. You will design, build, deploy, and operate agentic AI systems delivering measurable outcomes with end-to-end ownership.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, collaboration with Product Owners and AI Architects, and adherence to enterprise standards for security, governance, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production-grade software with 4+ years in generative AI/LLMs.
• Hands-on design and deployment of agentic AI solutions.
• Experience with MCP to connect agents to systems and data.
• Strong Python and at least one of TypeScript/Java/JavaScript/C#.
• Ability to lead architecture decisions and trade-offs in AI projects.

Responsibilities

• Understand business problems and drive from discovery to production deployment.
• Design, build, deploy, and improve enterprise-grade agentic AI apps.
• Implement RAG data ingestion, embeddings, vector search, grounding, and traceability.
• Lead governance, testing, observability, security, and cost optimization.
