Job summary

Help AG in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Security Engineer to implement Fortinet Secure SD-WAN across a global, multi-site network. You will deploy FortiGate firewalls, configure SD-WAN, IPSec, and dynamic routing, and support migrations from legacy WAN.

Working under the Senior Engineer, you’ll perform site rollouts, provide day-to-day operational support, monitor with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer, and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required in relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering with hands-on Fortinet FortiGate.
• Practical Fortinet SD-WAN configuration, IPSec VPNs, and BGP/OSPF.
• Experience with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer for management and troubleshooting.
• Experience in multi-site enterprise WAN environments and site rollouts.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Fortinet NSE 4 certification required; NSE 5/6/7 advantageous; CCNA/CCNP a plus.
• Willingness to work onsite and provide shift/after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and Secure SD-WAN per designs.
• Configure SD-WAN policies, IPSec tunnels, BGP/OSPF, and app-based SLA rules.
• Execute site rollouts and onboarding using FortiManager templates and zero-touch provisioning.
• Provide day-to-day operational support, incident and problem management across WAN/SD-WAN.
• Perform monitoring and routine maintenance with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.
• Support migrations from legacy WAN/MPLS to Fortinet SD-WAN.
• Diagnose connectivity, performance, and configuration issues within SLAs; escalate as needed.
• Maintain accurate configurations and SOP documentation.
• Collaborate with wider network and security teams for reliable connectivity.
