Job summary

Azizi Developments in Dubai seeks a Design Engineer – Formwork to independently prepare formwork and shoring designs, calculations, drawings and material take-offs for building and infrastructure projects. You will apply temporary works principles, use PERI/Doka systems, and produce GA and assembly drawings, with safety and constructability checks throughout the process.

Travel to site may be required. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 5 years in formwork design, with AutoCAD 2D

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in formwork design.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D; 3D is a plus.
• Familiarity with BS standards and temporary works principles.
• Experience with PERI, Doka or similar formwork systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare safe, economical and buildable formwork and shoring designs for projects.
• Develop GA, assembly and basic steel fabrication drawings.
• Create 2D/3D models and perform design calculations.
• Maintain drawings, calculation records and material lists.
• Coordinate with team leaders and site teams to meet deadlines.
• Support in technical queries and supplier information gathering.
