Job summary

Innovo Group in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, seeks an experienced Site Supervisor for joinery installation and on-site leadership. You will oversee the installation of cabinetry, wardrobes, doors, and paneling, ensuring work aligns with shop drawings and specifications while managing carpenters and helpers to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or diploma in carpentry, joinery, or a related trade.
• Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience in joinery installation and supervision.
• Strong knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
• Leadership and team management skills at the trade level.
• Good communication skills; Arabic and/or English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of joinery items (cabinetry, wardrobes, doors, panelling) on site.
• Ensure all work is carried out as per approved shop drawings and specifications.
• Manage and direct carpenters and helpers assigned to the site.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity and attendance.
• Inspect workmanship during and after installation; ensure finishing meets quality standards.

• Ensure materials and tools are available on site as required.
• Report material shortages and tool requirements to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
• Ensure all workers follow site safety rules and use personal protective equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency.
• Encourage innovative thinking to enhance outcomes and reduce costs without compromising quality.
