Careers International is seeking a skilled Foreman for GI duct fabrication and installation on ongoing UAE building projects. You will lead a team of technicians, read and apply shop drawings, manage daily manpower, and ensure quality workmanship with compliance to HSE standards.

The role requires a solid background in mechanical/ducting work, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate materials and site activities efficiently. GCC experience is preferred and immediate joining is desirable.

Qualificações

• ITI/ Diploma in Mechanical or Sheet Metal is required.
• 5+ years of ducting experience in building construction, with foreman exposure.
• Ability to read and understand drawings.
• Strong team handling and coordination skills.
• GCC experience is a plus.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Responsabilidades

Job description

Careers International is hiring for a reputed Civil & MEP Contracting Company in the UAE for its ongoing building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise chargehands and technicians in GI duct fabrication and installation, duct supports, dampers, grilles and diffusers
• Allocate daily work and manpower as instructed by the site engineer/supervisor
• Read and follow approved shop drawings and specifications
• Ensure correct installation, workmanship quality and readiness for inspection
• Track material usage and raise requirements in advance
• Report daily progress and site issues to the site engineer
• Ensure team follows safety rules, PPE and HSE procedures

Requirements

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Sheet Metal (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in ducting works in building construction, including experience as Foreman; GCC experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Good team handling skills
• Valid passport (minimum 2 years validity)
• Basic English or Hindi communication
• Ready to join immediately
