Job summary

KONE is hiring a Foreman for the UAE across Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah to lead on-site installation activities. You will coordinate with customers, supervise teams, and ensure quality and safety in line with KONE standards.

With a Diploma in Engineering and at least 10 years of high-rise elevator or escalator installation experience, you will interpret drawings, enforce installation methods, and uphold environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• ITI/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficient in installation methods and able to interpret arrangement drawings.
• Knowledge of quality, safety, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation environment during activities and manage on-site communication with customers regarding day-to-day installation and logistical matters.
• Ensure the safe, high-quality, and timely installation of equipment in accordance with KONE installation methods.
• Report installation progress to the supervisor and address any shortages or damage by ordering replacement parts promptly.
• Maintain the installation tools in good condition and secure the delivered equipment through proper storage and handling.
• Communicate with builders to prevent work interruptions and stay updated with field letter changes and the A.M. manual.
• Ensure a safe working environment within the installation area, including storage spaces.
• Handle the receipt, inspection, and storage of materials.
• Execute installations following predetermined methods and schedules.
• Submit reports on timekeeping, quality feedback, and warranty claims for materials.
• Provide feedback to the supply line for continuous product improvement.
