Job summary

KONE Corporation is seeking a Foreman for our KMTA operations across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah. The role focuses on overseeing installation environments, coordinating on-site communications with customers, and ensuring safe, high-quality, timely elevator/escalator installations in line with KONE methods.

You will manage delivery of materials, report progress, ensure tool readiness, and liaise with builders to prevent interruptions while maintaining safety and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• ITI/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficient in installation methods and able to interpret arrangement drawings.

Responsibilities

• Customer Relationship Management: Oversee the installation environment during activities and on-site communication with customers regarding day-to-day installation and logistical matters.
• Project Management: Ensure safe, high-quality, and timely installation of equipment; report progress; address shortages or damage by ordering parts; maintain tools; liaise with builders to prevent interruptions; stay updated with field changes and manuals.
• Delivery: Handle receipt, inspection, and storage of materials; execute installations per methods and schedules; submit reports on timekeeping, quality feedback, and warranty claims; provide feedback to the supply line for product improvement.
