Job summary

Radisson Hotel Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Operations Manager to orchestrate seamless service across outlets in Fiji. You will drive high standards, manage teams, and align dining strategies with brand values while ensuring profitability and guest satisfaction.

Your role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication and a passion for hospitality, with responsibility for budgeting, vendor relations and compliance across the F&B function.

Responsibilities

• Supports the smooth running of the food & beverage department, delivering high-level guest service.
• Improves guest satisfaction, resolves concerns with empathy and timely responses.
• Develops and implements F&B strategies aligned with RHG's mission, vision and values.
• Manages the F&B team, rosters, training and onboarding in a timely manner.
• Controls departmental budget, costs and inventory with productivity targets.
• Builds relationships with vendors, negotiates pricing with Accounting.
• Delivers programs that advance service standards, profitability and cost control.
• Communicates with guests, management and regional office; promotes outlets.
• Ensures adherence to legislation, policies and food safety, with audits.

We are currently seeking a Food & Beverage Operations Manager to join our vibrant team. As the Food & Beverage Operations Manager, you bring a heightened level of expertise, a results-driven approach, and a genuine passion for elevating the dining experience to our dynamic F&B Team.

• Supports the smooth running of the food & beverage department, where all aspects of the guest food & beverage service experience are delivered to the highest levels.
• Works proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, listening, resolving guest concerns with empathy, and delivering a positive and timely response to enquiries.
• Develops and implements food & beverage strategies aligned with RHG's mission, vision and values, ensuring outlets meet or exceed brand standards.
• Manages the food & beverage team, fostering a culture of growth, development and performance, and ensuring rosters, training and onboarding are completed in a timely manner.
• Responsible for the departmental budget, ensuring costs and inventory (including par levels, ordering and stock)are controlled and aligned with productivity and performance targets.
• Builds and maintains effective working relationships with food vendors, negotiating pricing and resolving disputes in partnership with Accounting.
• Delivers effective programmes that advance service standards, profitability and cost control, including menu development, pricing and regular reporting on revenue, costs and guest satisfaction scores.
• Communicates effectively with guests, management, employees and the regional office, promoting outlets through local advertising and public relations initiatives.
• Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation, hotel policies and food safety requirements, where due diligence activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit.

• Proven experience in food & beverage service with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent managerial skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Ability to find creative solutions, offering advice and recommendations.
• Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy.
• Experienced in using IT systems on various platforms.
