Job summary

Radisson Hotel Group in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to inspect, repair and maintain commercial kitchen and laundry equipment. You will diagnose electrical, gas and mechanical issues and implement preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Requirements include a technical diploma in mechanical/electrical/refrigeration engineering and 2–5 years' experience in a hotel, resort, or industrial facility. Safety and HACCP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain laundry machinery (washers, dryers, ironers, boilers).
• Diagnose electrical, gas, and mechanical issues and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Monitor steam pressure/temperature and ensure safety compliance.
• Coordinate with Executive Chef and Housekeeping Manager to minimize downtime.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen equipment such as:

  • Cooking ranges, ovens, steamers, fryers

  • Walk-in chillers & freezers

  • Dishwashers and food preparation machines

• Maintain laundry machinery including:

  • Industrial washers & dryers

  • Flatwork ironers

  • Steam boilers and pressing equipment

• Diagnose electrical, gas, and mechanical issues.

• Conduct preventive maintenance programs.

• Monitor steam pressure and temperature systems.

• Follow hotel safety and fire prevention policies.

• Coordinate with Executive Chef and Housekeeping Manager.

• Ensure minimal downtime of operational equipment.
