Job summary
Minar Holdings seeks an experienced General Manager - Fleet Operations & Maintenance to lead our fleet, maintenance, workshop activities, and overall operational performance in Abu Dhabi. You will drive utilization, reliability, and cost control while building strong client relationships with government entities and oil & gas clients.
The role demands 15–20 years in fleet operations with 8+ years in senior leadership, UAE-based experience, and a track record of profitability and HSE
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or related field.
- MBA in Operations, Business Administration or Supply Chain preferred.
- 15–20 years in fleet operations and maintenance with at least 8 years in leadership.
- Strong UAE experience in transport, logistics or oil & gas support services.
- Proven cost control, KPI development, and client relationship skills.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Odoo, GPS or fleet management systems a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead fleet operations and maintenance for light and heavy vehicles, buses, and equipment.
- Maximize fleet utilization, vehicle availability and operational efficiency.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
- Manage preventive maintenance, workshop performance, and vehicle reliability.
- Support management with tenders, pricing, and commercial strategies.
- Build relationships with clients, government entities, and oil & gas customers.
- Drive profitability, HSE compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary operations and maintenance teams.
