Job summary

Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee daily operations of the vehicle fleet and lead a team of drivers. You will ensure compliance with UAE regulations, manage servicing, registrations, insurance and cost controls.

The role requires strong organizational skills, experience with fleet management in the UAE, and proficiency in Excel and reports. A UAE driving license is required and the candidate should be able to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in fleet management, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE vehicle registration, insurance, traffic regulations, and fleet compliance.
• Experience managing drivers and a large number of vehicles.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• UAE driving license is required.
• Ability to prepare and analyze fleet reports and operating costs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the company’s vehicle fleet.
• Supervise and coordinate drivers and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Plan and coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs and inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicles, drivers, registrations, insurance and maintenance.
• Monitor fuel consumption, traffic fines, vehicle expenses and operating costs.
• Ensure all vehicles are properly registered, insured and compliant with UAE regulations.
• Track vehicle breakdowns, accidents and maintenance issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules to minimize vehicle downtime.
• Monitor driver attendance, performance, discipline and safety compliance.
• Coordinate vehicle allocation and replacement when required.
• Prepare regular fleet performance and cost reports for management.
• Liaise with garages, insurance companies, suppliers and relevant government authorities when required.
• Identify opportunities to improve fleet efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Ensure compliance with health safety and road traffic regulations.
