Role Overview:

Al Khaldi is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to direct transportation and vehicle operations across Saudi Arabia. This position focuses on optimizing heavy truck and tanker fleets, ensuring stringent safety compliance, implementing preventative maintenance schedules, and driving operational efficiency.

The selected candidate will oversee day-to-day fleet performance, manage driver teams, enforce transport regulations, and utilize telematics and GPS data to control costs and streamline logistics workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct daily transportation workflows, vehicle availability, and fleet performance metrics across operations.
• Oversee maintenance programs for heavy trucks and tankers, managing preventive upkeep and repair schedules.
• Monitor driver performance, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with national transport laws.
• Implement cost-control strategies, manage budget allocations, and track core fleet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Leverage GPS tracking systems and operational analytics to optimize routing, fuel economy, and fleet productivity.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Professional Experience: 8 to 12 years of comprehensive fleet or transportation management experience, with at least 3 to 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity. Regional experience in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands‑on expertise with GPS/telematics tracking software, fleet management information systems, and maintenance scheduling platforms.
• Core Competencies: Heavy fleet operations, driver safety management, regulatory compliance, KPI tracking, and operational cost control.
