Job summary

Millennium in Dubai seeks a skilled Trade Assistant to support a Fixed Income trading pod, ensuring accurate booking across swaps, bonds, FX, inflation, rates volatility derivatives, futures and options. You will be a pivotal link between Portfolio Managers and sales teams or brokers.

You will work with Middle Office, Operations, Technology and Business Management to ensure timely processing, drive efficiency, and support the transition of the team to an independent fund.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a trade assistant or trading desk support role.
• Interest in Fixed Income and derivatives markets.
• Motivation to learn across a broad range of traded products and PMs.
• Proactive approach to improving processes and operating models.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong stakeholder communication and relationship-building.
• Willing to adapt as the business evolves, and open to AI tools utilization.

Responsibilities

• Capture traded risk in booking systems across Fixed Income products (swaps, bonds, FX, inflation, rates derivatives, futures, options).
• Serve as a key contact between Portfolio Managers and sales teams or brokers to confirm trade details and fix issues.
• Collaborate with Middle Office, Operations, Technology, and Business Management for timely, accurate trade processing and resolution.
• Monitor and improve trading book efficiency including FX balance cleanups and transfers.
• Identify, develop and deliver process enhancements that create value for the team and PMs.
• Provide backup trade execution support for the Portfolio Manager team.
• Deliver front-line trading support as the team prepares for independent fund transition.
