Job summary

Black Swan Group seeks an experienced Emerging Markets Fixed Income Trader to join its Dubai-based investment and trading team. The role focuses on EM credit, trading high-yield, sovereign, quasi-sovereign and corporate bonds across GCC and wider MENA markets.

This hands-on role combines trade execution, idea generation, market analysis and portfolio support, with a strong emphasis on solid EM knowledge and building liquidity with regional banks and counterparties.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10+ years' fixed income trading experience.
• Strong Emerging Markets knowledge with GCC fixed income exposure.
• Experience across sovereign and corporate credit is essential.
• Exposure to high-yield / sub-investment-grade bonds desirable.
• Candidates from asset managers, hedge funds, investment firms, family offices, or banks with fixed income desks.

Responsibilities

• Trade EM sovereign, quasi-sovereign and corporate bonds.
• Identify opportunities across high-yield and investment-grade credit.
• Execute across primary and secondary fixed income markets.
• Generate relative-value and tactical trading ideas.
• Monitor credit spreads, yield curves, interest rates, liquidity and macro developments.
• Provide market colour and execution insight to the investment team.
• Develop relationships with regional and international banks, brokers and trading counterparties.
• Source liquidity and negotiate execution, particularly across less-liquid EM credit.
• Support portfolio positioning and risk management.

Emerging Markets Fixed Income Trader | Dubai

We are working with an established alternative investment and institutional markets platform in Dubai seeking an experienced Emerging Markets Fixed Income Trader to join its investment and trading team.

The successful candidate will focus on Emerging Markets credit, trading across high-yield, sovereign, quasi-sovereign and corporate bonds, with particularly strong exposure to the GCC and wider MENA markets.

This is a hands-on role combining trade execution, idea generation, market analysis and portfolio support.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Trading EM sovereign, quasi-sovereign and corporate bonds
• Identifying opportunities across high-yield and investment-grade credit
• Executing across primary and secondary fixed income markets

We are looking for someone with approximately 5 to 10+ years' relevant fixed income trading experience, strong Emerging Markets knowledge and demonstrable exposure to the GCC fixed income market.

Experience across sovereign and corporate credit is essential, while meaningful exposure to high-yield / sub-investment-grade bonds would be highly desirable.

Candidates may come from an asset manager, hedge fund, investment firm, family office, proprietary trading platform or bank fixed income / credit trading desk.
