Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• 2–5 years UAE experience in interior fit-out drafting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp or Revit is a plus.
• Strong joinery detailing, ceiling layouts, partitions, flooring, and MEP coordination.

Fitout Draftsman

Role Overview

BCD Global is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Fitout Draftsman to support the design and execution of premium interior fit-out projects across our portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in preparing accurate technical drawings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that all drawings align with project specifications, consultant requirements, and UAE standards. Working closely with architects, designers, engineers, and site teams, you will play a key role in translating design intent into coordinated construction documentation that supports efficient project delivery and high-quality execution.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Drawing & Documentation

Prepare detailed shop drawings, working drawings, and as-built drawings for interior fit-out projects. Produce accurate construction documentation covering layouts, joinery details, reflected ceiling plans, flooring, partitions, and other fit-out elements while ensuring drawings are complete, coordinated, and ready for execution.

Design Coordination

Coordinate closely with architects, interior designers, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and site teams to ensure all project drawings are fully integrated and technically aligned. Review architectural and MEP drawings to identify coordination issues, resolve conflicts, and support smooth project execution.

Drawing Review & Revisions

Revise and update drawings based on consultant comments, client feedback, site conditions, and project changes throughout the construction process. Maintain version control and ensure all issued drawings reflect the latest approved information.

Technical Compliance & Quality

Ensure all drawings comply with UAE regulations, project specifications, industry standards, and company quality requirements. Verify dimensional accuracy, construction feasibility, and coordination across all disciplines before issuing drawings for execution.

Project Support

Provide technical drafting support throughout the project lifecycle by assisting project managers and site teams with construction documentation, technical clarifications, as-built submissions, and other project-related deliverables required to support timely and efficient project completion.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out drafting.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; knowledge of SketchUp or Revit is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of joinery detailing, ceiling layouts, partitions, flooring systems, construction detailing, and MEP coordination.
• Experience preparing shop drawings, working drawings, and as-built documentation for commercial, residential, or hospitality fit-out projects.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, designers, and site teams while managing multiple drawing packages within project deadlines.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
