Job summary

A leading interior design firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Draftsman to prepare detailed shop drawings for high-end hotel interiors. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience in joinery and fitout drafting within the UAE. Proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of hotel interior standards are essential. This role requires strong communication and coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in joinery and fitout drafting in the UAE/GCC.
• Must have hands-on experience in hotel projects preferred in the UAE/GCC.
• Familiarity with hotel interior standards and requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed fitout shop drawings and as-built drawings for high-end interior projects.
• Interpret architectural and interior design drawings for comprehensive technical drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to ensure accuracy of drawings.
• Modify and update drawings based on site conditions and client feedback.
• Ensure adherence to relevant UAE standards and project specifications.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate fitout shop drawings joinery details and asbuilt drawings for highend interior projects particularly hotel interiors.
• Interpret architectural and interior design drawings to develop comprehensive technical drawings suitable for onsite.
• Coordinate with project managers site engineers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and feasibility of drawings.
• Modify and update drawings based on site conditions consultant feedback and client requirements.
• Prepare layouts for ceilings partitions flooring wall finishes millwork and custom joinery items.
• Maintain a proper drawing revision log and ensure timely submission and documentation of all drawings.
• Ensure that all drawings adhere to relevant UAE standards project specifications and company quality procedures.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelors degee or Diploma in Architecture Interior Design Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in joinery and fitout drafting in the UAE/GCC.
• Must have handson experience in hotel projects preferred in the UAE/GCC.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and excellent knowledge of shop drawing preparation for interior fitout works.
• Solid understanding of interior construction detailing finishes and joinery fabrication techniques.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with hotel interior standards and requirements is a plus.
• Must be locally available in the UAE and ready to join immediately.
