Job summary

Dusit Thani Dubai is seeking an experienced Fitness Instructor to join our Wellness team. You will conduct fitness assessments, design personalized programs and supervise gym activities to ensure safety and effectiveness for guests and members.

The role involves leading group classes, advising on nutrition and healthy habits, and collaborating with the Wellness Manager to deliver integrated wellness programs within a luxury hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science, Sports Science, or related field (preferred).
• Certified Fitness Instructor (internationally recognized certification preferred).
• Minimum 1–3 years experience in a fitness or wellness facility, preferably in a 5-star hospitality environment.
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Strong interpersonal and motivational skills.

Responsibilities

• Report for duty on time in full uniform maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Conduct fitness assessments consultations and inductions for new members and guests.
• Design and implement personalized fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual goals.
• Lead and supervise gym floor activities ensuring safe and effective use of equipment.
• Conduct group exercise classes such as circuit training aerobics spinning strength training and functional workouts.
• Assess guests overall well-being including fitness level lifestyle habits and any health limitations.
• Provide professional guidance on exercise techniques injury prevention nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits.
• Monitor and supervise clients to ensure safety and effectiveness during sessions.
• Work with special populations including seniors children guests with medical referrals and people with physical limitations.
• Collaborate with the Wellness Manager to develop integrated wellness programs workshops and special events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Wellness Manager.
