Job summary

Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is seeking a fitness professional to lead Personal Training sessions, group classes, and wellness events for guests and members. You will ensure a clean, safe recreation centre and deliver personalized exercise plans with top-tier service.

The role requires an active fitness instructor certification and strong communication skills in English, with Arabic knowledge considered an advantage in a multicultural resort environment.

Qualifications

• Recognized fitness instructor certification.
• Knowledge of exercise techniques, strength training, cardiovascular fitness, and injury prevention.
• Ability to develop safe and effective fitness programs for individuals and groups.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Physically fit and able to demonstrate exercises correctly.
• Good customer service skills and a professional appearance.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining client records and scheduling.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to operating the Recreation Centre professionally and in line with Anantara aims.
• Deliver Personal Training sessions to guests and members.
• Provide daily fitness and wellness classes free of charge and chargeable to guests and members.
• Organize fitness and wellness events on the monthly schedule and special events.
• Ensure the fitness centre is clean and safe; sanitize machines.
• Deliver the highest level of customer service at all times.
• Provide personalized exercise plans and correct usage guidance.
• Monitor participation and guest feedback; report to Management.
• Coordinate with other departments and drive revenues for the department.

Job Responsibilities

To contribute to operating the Recreation Centre in a professional and business orientated manner, in accordance with Anantara aims and objectives, recognizing the need to achieve all targets and other performance indicators set. Perform Personal Training sessions to guests and members. To provide daily Fitness and Sports group classes free of charge and chargeable to the guest in House and Members such as Hit , Stretching , boot camp , Boxing classes. To organize Fitness and Wellness events on the Monthly Activities schedule and special event such as the Full Moon. Ensure the Fitness center always clean including all the machines and equipment. Clean and sanitize the Machines on the absence of the Recreation Attendant. To assist on all the recreation areas if needed. Deliver the highest level of customer service at all times. Deliver personalized exercise plans to our guests. Offer guests assistance when they are not performing an exercise correctly. Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations of the recreation center. Ensure that all activities are performed in a safe environment using proper safety techniques. Monitor the success of the activities programs through the number of participants per scheduled event and through guests’ feedback. Provide feedback to Management. Circulate clear information to guests of the events offered by the hotel. Develop and maintain a strong working environment with the other departments. Ensure proper accounting procedures are followed when collecting of charging fees for Sports & Recreations Be prepared to assume other Sports & Recreations duties or responsibilities as requested by management. Drive revenues for the department.
