Job summary

Caliberly in Dubai seeks an experienced estimator with a strong background in interior Fit-Out projects. You will measure quantities, prepare bids, and analyze site conditions to define cost-efficient alternatives while coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, the design team, and the client.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 5–7 years’ experience in estimation and costing, with excellent analytical and time-management skills to deliver accurate, timely estimates for complex

Job description

• Measure and calculate the cost of materials
• Prepare tender submissions and take-offs Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
• Read and interpret plans for Contract administration
• Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope of fit-outworks
• Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of the project
• Act as a connection between subcontractors, design team, project engineerand client
• Responsible for preparing and assembling bids and proposals for variouscontract types
• Determine required but non-indicated scope through the analysis of siteconditions and all contract documents (plans specifications, etc.)
• Collaborate with operations team and other estimators to ensure that
• General Conditions and Requirement items are appropriately captured in theestimate
• Assess subcontractor proposals to ascertain if the scope is covered andalso manage the risk of scope gaps
• Produce accurate and comprehensive estimates for complex projects in atimely and efficient manner

Requirements:

• Holder of Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or equivalent years of workexperience
• Have at least 5-7 years of experience in estimation & costing with anInterior Fit Out company.
• Analytical and extremely detail-oriented
• Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to adjust quickly, shouldthere be changes in work priorities
• Ability to multitask based on the requirement at hand.
