Job summary

NAFFCO Careers is seeking an experienced Fire Safety & Firefighting Instructor in the UAE to provide theoretical and practical training in fire safety, firefighting, and emergency response. The role includes delivering classroom sessions, drills, simulations, and competency assessments in line with NFPA standards and UAE requirements.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of UAE experience in fire instruction or related roles, and hold NFPA 1041 and NFPA 1001 certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years UAE experience as a Fire Instructor, Firefighter, Fire & Rescue Instructor, or equivalent.
• NFPA 1041 Fire Instructor I/II and NFPA 1001 Firefighter I/II are required or equivalent qualifications.
• Additional certifications in Fire & Rescue, HAZMAT, or Emergency Response are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of firefighting operations, fire safety, emergency response procedures, and practical training methods.
• Good communication, presentation, and training delivery skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical and practical training in fire safety, firefighting techniques, emergency response, rescue procedures, and safe firefighting equipment operation.
• Conduct classroom sessions, practical drills, simulations, demonstrations, and competency assessments in line with NFPA standards, UAE Fire and Life Safety requirements, and approved training programs.
• Prepare training materials, lesson plans, and practical exercises to support effective learning.
• Evaluate trainee performance through practical assessments and provide appropriate feedback.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance, and assessment results.
