Job summary

Experts Plus Recruitment Services seeks a Fire Fighting Engineer to lead design, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of fire-protection systems in the UAE. You will ensure NFPA alignment and Civil Defence approvals across projects, coordinating with MEP disciplines and managing interfaces on site.

The role requires 2–4 years of UAE/GCC experience, NFPA knowledge, and strong leadership with client-facing communication.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Fire Protection Engineering or equivalent.
2-4 years of experience in fire-fighting systems design/execution, preferably in UAE/GCC.
NFPA certification (CFPS or similar) preferred.
Strong knowledge of Dubai/Abu Dhabi Civil Defence approval procedures.
Experience with fire pump testing, hydraulic calculations, and BMS/fire-alarm interface coordination.

Responsibilities

Lead design and execution of fire-fighting systems meeting NFPA and Civil Defence codes.
Supervise on-site installation of pumps, piping, sprinklers, hydrants, and detection interfaces.
Coordinate fire-fighting works with electrical, HVAC, and BMS/SCADA disciplines to manage interfaces.
Plan and conduct flushing, hydrostatic testing, and functional testing of pumps and systems.
Coordinate testing with fire alarm, life-safety, and BMS systems.
Prepare commissioning reports and ensure readiness for Civil Defence approval.
Liaise with Civil Defence/authorities for approvals and NOC issuance.
Maintain as-built drawings, test certificates, and O&M manuals.
Train FM/operations staff on system operation and maintenance.
Supervise technicians/foremen and subcontractors; manage cost estimation and variations.
