Job summary

FIREBASE INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE OF FIRE LIFE SAFETY SYSTEM in the UAE seeks an experienced Project engineer to manage the execution, supervision, and coordination of fire protection projects across the UAE. Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of proven experience with a Fire Protection / Fire Fighting Contractor.
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience in installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fire protection systems.
• Ability to conduct site visits for new inquiries, assess site conditions, understand client requirements, and provide technical recommendations.
• Proven experience supervising projects, technicians, subcontractors, and site activities.
• Ability to prepare site survey reports, BOQs, material take-offs, quotations, and technical documentation.
• Good knowledge of UAE Civil Defence requirements and relevant NFPA standards.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and Civil Defence authorities.
• Strong communication, reporting, leadership, and project coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel between project sites as required.
• Manage and supervise fire protection and life safety projects from site execution through completion and handover.
• Attend testing, commissioning, inspection, and handover activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise fire protection and life safety projects from site execution through completion and handover.
• Conduct site visits for new inquiries and existing projects.
• Supervise installation and maintenance works for fire fighting, fire alarm, and emergency lighting systems.
• Monitor project progress, workmanship, materials, manpower, and completion schedules.
• Coordinate and supervise technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Attend testing, commissioning, inspection, and handover activities.
• Identify technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Prepare and review site survey reports, BOQs, material take-offs, quotations, and technical documentation.
• Support estimation and commercial teams in preparing accurate quotations based on site requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and Civil Defence authorities throughout the project.
• Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, Civil Defence requirements, NFPA standards, and project timelines.
• Ensure proper project documentation, reporting, and timely completion of assigned projects.
