Job summary

NAFFCO Careers in Dubai is seeking a skilled 3D Modeller / Designer for Fire Fighting Systems to translate design intent into detailed BIM/3D models, shop drawings, and fabrication data that support design, procurement and site teams.

You'll model wet/dry risers, sprinklers, hydrants, pumps and pipework using Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks, perform clash detection, and prepare drawings that meet NFPA, BS and local codes. 2–6 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of BIM modelling experience for firefighting, sprinkler and life‑safety systems.
• Proven ability to produce shop drawings, isometrics and fabrication information from 3D models.

Responsibilities

• 3D Modelling & Drawing Production
• Create and maintain detailed 3D models for firefighting systems
• Produce fabrication drawings, isometrics, splice details from models
• Ensure models include routing, clearances, hangers and coordination
• Prepare layout drawings for procurement and site erection
• Coordinate models with MEPD disciplines to resolve clashes
• Run clash detection sessions and implement resolutions
• Attend meetings and present modelling progress
• Ensure designs comply with NFPA, BS and local codes
• Interpret design drawings and manufacturer data for component selection
• Identify constraints and propose cost‑effective modelling solutions
• Support procurement with model extracts, BOMs and spool drawings
• Provide site support and as‑built model updates
• Handover complete model data to project teams
• Collaborate with design engineers and estimators on deliverables
• Contribute to BIM standards and best practices
• Share lessons learned for modelling efficiency
