Job summary

NAFFCO Careers in Dubai seeks an AutoCAD Draughtsman to produce detailed fire protection drawings and installation layouts in line with NFPA and BS standards.

You will coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing teams, prepare shop drawings for approvals, and maintain accurate as-built and record drawings to support project handover.

Candidates should have a drafting or mechanical background and experience with UAE GCC projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma, certificate, or technical qualification in Drafting or related field.
• AutoCAD draughtsman for fire protection or MEP roles.
• Experience preparing drawings for fire fighting and life-safety systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with layers, blocks, references, annotation and scaling.
• Knowledge of NFPA and BS codes and local authority requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for fire protection systems.
• Develop installation and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing teams.
• Identify clashes and resolve discrepancies with engineers.
• Maintain drawing registers and document control.
• Support site teams with updated drawings and clarifications.
• Prepare material take-offs and pipework schedules.
