Job summary

Finclutech Ltd. seeks a Technical Business Analyst to translate complex financial-service requirements into precise specifications for engineering teams. You will drive end-to-end analysis, design technical solutions, and produce detailed documentation including workflows and UMLs.

With 8+ years in software BA, you will collaborate across cross-functional teams, support QA and UAT, and ensure on-time delivery while leveraging Claude for automation and AI-assisted outputs, validated for accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IT required; CBAP/PMI-PBA preferred.
• 8+ years hands-on BA experience in software development with technical exposure.
• Knowledge of Banking and Mobile Money domains is essential.
• Experience writing business and technical specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Familiar with Waterfall and Agile methodologies; experience with JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements from multiple stakeholders and translate into technical requirements.
• Ensure requirements are delivered on time and within scope.
• Design technical solutions aligned with business needs.
• Create detailed documentation: functional specs, system requirements, workflows, UMLs.
• Ensure technical feasibility and identify risks early.
• Act as liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Support development lifecycle and clarify queries.
• Collaborate with QA to define acceptance criteria and test cases.
• Ensure software meets functional requirements, performance, quality.
• Assist in UAT and validate solutions meet business needs.
• Suggest improvements to processes and system features.
• Monitor product performance post-deployment and identify improvements.
• Work with project managers for timely delivery.
• Leverage AI tools like Claude to accelerate analysis and automation, with review for accuracy.
• Write requirements for integrations with third party providers and coordinate dependencies.
