Job summary

Optasia is seeking a Head of Enterprise Risk & Controls to lead the design and continuous improvement of the enterprise risk management framework. You will oversee risk governance, appetite, internal controls, and risk advisory services to support strategic decisions across a fast-growing fintech platform.

The role reports to the VP Enterprise Risk, Compliance & Assurance and requires ~15 years of risk management experience, strong governance knowledge, and a pragmatic, scalable

Qualifications

• Experience ~15 years in enterprise risk management.
• Leadership experience in risk functions or advisory roles.
• Knowledge of international governance frameworks (ISO 31000, COSO).
• Ability to translate risk concepts for senior leaders and board members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the enterprise risk management framework aligned to ISO 31000 and COSO.
• Define risk governance structure, escalation protocols and decision rights.
• Lead risk appetite statements and tolerance monitoring by category.
• Coordinate control libraries and risk-control matrices across priority risk areas.
• Provide risk advisory services to support strategic decisions including new markets and partnerships.
• Lead the enterprise risk team and foster a culture of accountability.
