Job summary

Al Ghurair Giga Pakistan Pvt Ltd. is seeking a skilled finishing technician to set up and operate a range of binding and folding machines, including Kolbus perfect binders and Muller Martini saddle stitchers, as well as folding, sewing, and gathering equipment.

You will configure die-cutters, foilers, embossers, and bag fabrication machines, monitor output for quality and alignment, perform routine cleaning, and follow preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate finishing machines including Kolbus binders, Muller Martini saddle stitchers, folding, sewing, and Wholemberg gathering equipment.
• Configure automatic die-cutting, foiling, embossing, Brausee folder gluers and bag fabrication machines (Champion) based on job specs and material type.
• Monitor output for binding strength, stitching accuracy, fold precision, and cutting alignment.
• Perform visual and manual quality checks and follow the preventive maintenance schedule.
• Identify and escalate mechanical issues or misfeeds to the foreman or maintenance team.
